The first part of the online training is a module focusing on how to cue using Cued Speech. The module contains, among other things: a general introduction to the history and principles of Cued Speech; a presentation of the different possible uses of Cued Speech and their benefits; an introduction to the articulatory system using the International Phonetics Alphabet (IPA), an explanation of the different hand positions and handshapes with images and videos on the different cueing levels (words – sentences).
